Alessandro Fogar, born 1962,
scientific studies, is an electronic musician and multimedia/software designer,
he is based in Grado (Go), Italy
He studies
electronic music and new media tecnologies, Conservatorio G. Tartini, Trieste with Roberto Doati, Paolo pachini and others.
He attended
some workshops about computer music (CSC Padova and Gorizia), soundscapes and sound diffusion (Barry Truax – Berlin),
interactive and feedback tecniques, (Agostino di Scipio, Trieste)
soundscapes (Albert Mayr – Villacaccia
di Lestizza), composition (Pierre Marietan,
Villacaccia di Lestizza), spatialization (Ircam, Berlin), performance practice
(Akio Suzuki – Villacaccia di Lestizza)
and others.
Since 1988
he has explored various approaches to sound generation, recording and
production, the resulting compositions are often studies in transforming,
mutating existing sounds.
